What is Write My Walls lettering?
Vinyl wall lettering is made of a thin (approx. 3mm) self-adhesive vinyl. It can be applied to interior walls, metal, glass, mirrors, most plastic,* and any smooth surface. It is also removable, but not reusable. The letters do not fade or crack. The letters will not stick to rough or uneven surfaces like brick, stucco, or cinder block.

Will my lettering stick to wallpaper?
Yes, the lettering can be installed on some wallpaper. We suggest you order a free sample to check and see if it will stick to yours.**

Will my lettering stick to all paints?
Write My Walls will easily install on most latex and oil based paints. It will work on some other paints, but we suggest you order a free sample to check and see if it will stick to yours.**

Will my lettering stick to freshly painted walls?
Paint should be allowed to cure for at least 30 days before applying Write My Walls lettering.**

How do I keep my lettering clean?
A soft cloth or sponge damp with cool water is all that is needed to clean your Write My Walls lettering. We suggest you not use strong cleaners. If applied to a mirror, do not use glass cleaner that has ammonia or citrus added to it.

What if my lettering is peeling off?
If part of your Write My Walls lettering is beginning to peel off, use a glue stick (washable glue) to the back side of
the letter to re-attach it.

How are the letters spaced?
The vinyl letters are pre-spaced which means that we do the spacing and positioning for you. The lettering you will receive is a single roll of text, which can be installed as one piece or cut apart and installed in separate pieces.

Do I need to order one of your examples or can I make up one of my own?
You can order one of our many examples or you can custom order a quote of your own. Please go to the Wall Lettering tab and choose either "Choose One of Our Quotes" or "Create Your Own Quote" and follow the simple instructions.

Can the letters be removed?
Yes, the letters are removable, but not reusable. To remove, pull a corner of each letter and slowly peel the letter off the wall. If the lettering does not peel off easily, use a hair dryer to heat the vinyl and soften it up. If the letters have been up for a long time, once they have been removed, the wall may look different where the letters had been. This is because the wall paint has aged over time from light exposure. Painting the wall may be necessary.

What are my payment options?
You can pay on-line via PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Gift Certificate.

When will my order ship?
Your order will normally ship in 3-5 business days after receipt of your payment. Delivery is usually 2-3 business days after that.

How will my order be shipped?
For U.S. deliveries, we ship USPS Priority Mail. We charge a flat fee of $6.95 for all orders up to $100. Orders from $100 - $250 are charged a flat fee of $14.95. Orders over $250 will be quoted actual shipping costs. Overnight shipping is available at an additional cost.

How can I check the status of an order once it
has been placed?
Once you place your order, you will receive the following email confirmations.
1. Your order has been received.
2. Your payment has been confirmed.
3. Your order has shipped.

* Not polypropylene or polyethylene. Test with household tape to be sure before ordering.
**Of course, be sure to clean area and let dry before applying letters to paint or wallpaper. Use manufacturers recommended cleaner to remove soil, grease or wax.
